Siolim House Hotel is comprised of several buildings scattered throughout the property of which three have guest accomodations

The Governor’s House contains the spa, the two governor’s suites on the first floor (Macau and Macassar), one standard suite (Calicut) on the ground floor, our games/TV room, formal dining room, reception and the Malabar suite. It was the original building on the site. When restoring the house, none of the walls were destroyed, and therefore we have preserved the volumes including huge bathrooms.

The Back House was built attached to the Governor’s House around 200 years ago. It hosts five guest rooms. In the past it had bedrooms, the granaries and service areas of the house.

The Upper Garden suite is set in a separate building that was severed deteriorated which we restored. Now it is a small maisonette with a private patio where you can have meals ‘al fresco’. There is a living room, a bedroom on the first floor and a small pantry.

Governor’s Suites

Step back in time and experience history in our two Governor’s Suites: Macau and Macassar. Nestled within the original Governor’s House, these suites once accommodated a former governor who served in both Macau and Mozambique during the Portuguese colonial era.

Immerse yourself in the past with grand proportions, high wooden ceilings, four-poster beds, polished wooden floors, and antique furnishings.

We have six spacious standard suites, of which five are set all around the courtyard and in the back building. One is in the ground floor of the Main Governor’s house. All are very quiet, each room is named after a trading port of the 16th Century.

A separate maisonette set in the upper garden, private and independent. One living room on the ground floor with a kitchenette and abedroom on the upper floor surrounded by greenery. There is a private patio to enjoy meals al fresco.
